Clinical Trials of the future - Episode 8 Does Rock accompany to the training camp!?

Aug 10, 2024 (Initial release: 23 Sep, 2020)

"Doctor, starting this Sunday, I'm going to Lake Biwa for two weeks for a training camp to prepare for university entrance exams."
"Rock is going to Lake Biwa too."

Rock interrupted me while I was talking with my family doctor and the doctor from the university hospital using Rock's hologram call.
"Hey, I'm having an important conversation with the doctor right now, so don't interrupt."
"I've given you a month's supply of the medicine you prescribed the other day, so that should be fine. The problem is what to do if an emergency occurs."

The doctor from the university hospital continued as if nothing had happened. The other patients' robots are like this too, so maybe he's used to it. It must be hard for the doctor to have to deal with so many Rocks.
"Is it an emergency?"
"Yes. No major side effects have been reported from the investigational drug I'm taking, but there's always the chance of something happening, and I have an underlying illness, so I think it's important to be prepared to receive support in case something happens at the place I'm staying."
"Yes."

Side effects, huh? I remember watching a video explaining it when I was participating in the clinical trial.
"My bad friend from my school days has a practice near Lake Biwa, so I'll contact him. I'll email Sakura my contact information."
"Also, you don't need to bring the robot, so just show her taking the medicine over FaceTime, as usual."
"Yes. Understood."
"Too bad, Rock. Too bad, Rock. I can't see the Biwa giant catfish..."

Thanks to the doctor at the university hospital who introduced me to a doctor who practices near the training camp, I think I'll be able to get through the training camp without any problems.
